Established in 1992, Maddox and Son Construction is built on over 21 years of integrity and excellence in the construction industry. Wayne Maddox
OWNER/FOUNDER
As a native Virginian, Wayne Maddox has enjoyed making a career of helping both residents and businesses come to call Virginia home. Originally from Amherst, VA., Mr. Maddox moved to Lynchburg in 1985 where he had already been diligently working as a welder on the night-shift at the Lynchburg Foundry. Mr. Maddox spent over three decades with the Foundry while also working in various capacities of construction during the day. No stranger to hard work and eager to set out on his own, Mr. Maddox retired from welding in 1992 and founded Maddox and Son Construction. Under his supervision, Maddox and Son Construction became a hallmark of quality craftsmanship in the Lynchburg area, and enjoys the reputation of a family-owned business operated with the utmost integrity. In addition to being a talented contractor with experience in both residential and commercial construction, Mr. Maddox also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Andy Maddox
PRESIDENT & CEO
Completing the family of Maddox and Son, Andy Maddox has been an integral part of helping Maddox and Son Construction flourish in recent years and meet the needs of a new generation of families and business owners. After serving in the U.S. Navy and working for Ericsson Telecommunications, Andy joined his father full time in 1992 and immediately set to work helping Maddox and Son become a highly reputable construction company. A consummate and motivated leader, Andy oversees each project from concept to completion, employing an extensive knowledge of all phases of construction ensure that each Maddox and Son product meets the highest expectations of function and form. Andy is experience in numerous facets of construction including residential homes, community and neighborhood development, remodeling, and commercial. In addition Andy is the founder and owner of Grace Properties of VA, Inc., a local residential and commercial property management company specializing in providing its clients with the highest level of service and customer satisfaction. Having made his home in Forest, VA., with his wife and two children, Andy is proud to help others put down roots in Virginian soil
